Indications And Dose

Bacterial skin infections, particularly those caused by Gram-positive organisms (except pseudomonal infection) ▶TO THE SKIN Skin ▶Child: Apply up to 3 times a day for up to 10 days ▶Adult: Apply up to 3 times a day for up to 10 days Non-bullous impetigo [in patients who are not systemically unwell or at high risk of complications] ▶TO THE SKIN ▶Child: Apply 3 times a day for 5–7 days ▶Adult: Apply 3 times a day for 5–7 days l UNLICENSED USE ▶In children Mupirocin ointment licensed for use in children (age range not speciﬁed by manufacturer). Bactroban ® cream not recommended for use in children under 1 year.
